STEPPING INTO UNCHARTED TERRITORIES Joshua 1:2 and Ch 3:3-4
Building on his powerful 2024 Christmas message and 2025 Theme Launch, Rev Lebelo continues to inspire the Church to step out of comfort zones as we begin 2025. To experience God’s presence this year, we must: Break out of old habits. Detox from negativity. Dismantle obstacles. Get rid of everything that’s holding us back. Rev Lebelo urges us to engage in prayer like never before. Let’s immerse ourselves – as a Church, families, and individuals – in prayer, for uncharted territories won’t be conquered easily

This message – To All Districts, Pastors, Leaders, and Members of the International Assemblies of God South Africa
Greetings in the Mighty Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
As we stand at the beginnning of 2026, I am reminded of the great task that the Lord has placed before us as a Fellowship. We are not a people who drift aimlessly; we are a people with a Policy, a people with a Mission, and a people moving towards a Vision.
Our Vision 2033 is not merely a date on the calendar; it is a divine summons. It calls us to look beyond our current borders, to see the harvest fields of our nation, and to possess them for the Kingdom. We have our Strategic Goals, our Objectives, and our Action Plan for 2025, all designed to strengthen the local assembly and extend the reach of the Gospel. But I want to speak to you today about the spiritual current that must carry all our plans: the current of Uncharted Territories and the fire of personal, spreading Revival.
My dear brothers and sisters, the landscape of South Africa is changing. The challenges are new, the cultural waters are uncharted. We cannot navigate the next season with the maps of the past. We must, as a National Office and as Districts, depend on the fresh guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Policy of our church is our framework, but the Spirit of God is our Pilot. He is leading us into territories we have not walked before—new communities, new methods of reaching the youth, new ways of ministering to a hurting nation. Do not fear the unknown. Our God is already there.
And how will we possess these territories? Through the power of Revival.
But let us understand revival correctly. It is not a programme we implement from the National Office. It is not a resolution we pass. Revival is a fire that starts in one heart and spreads to the next. It is a holy contagion.
As your General President, I am calling for a grassroots movement. From the largest District to the smallest fellowship in a remote village, I want to see the spark catch. It begins with the pastor on their knees. It spreads to the deacon, to the men’s fellowship, to the women of prayer, to the young people. One ignited life sets another ablaze.
This is our Action Plan for the Spirit: that you would be the “one” in your church. The one who prays until something happens. The one who forgives and restores relationships. The one who shares their testimony with power. When you catch that fire, you will not be able to contain it. You will spread it to the next person, and they to the next, until our Districts from Western Cape to Highveld, from Limpopo to the Coast—are burning with the presence of God.
I urge every District Leader, every Pastor, and every Member: align yourselves with the Vision 2033, study the Strategic Goals, but above all, open your heart to the Uncharted move of the Spirit. Let us not be satisfied with maintenance. Let us be consumed with mission.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon IAG SA as we move forward, one heart at a time, into the future He has prepared.
